Midweek Motivation – What Will It Take For You To Change?

As a follow on from last week (obviously having hit a chord with many people) I have some questions for you to help bring about some changes in your life.

Most if us in our lives have, at some stage, had to make an incredibly important and life changing decision.  Maybe it was about changing jobs, leaving a partner, having a child, moving house or getting married  for example.

But what was your biggest life changing moment?

Think about it for a minute or two, then consider the following questions
What made you absolutely decide to make that change?
How did the decision effect you?
What good things happened as a result?
What bad things happened as a result?

And now, go a few weeks into the future, say to the middle of next month.

Imagine not having changed your eating behaviour, and continuing your health and eating patterns as you currently are.  Ask yourself the same questions;
How did the decision effect you?
What good things happened as a result?
What bad things happened as a result?

And now consider the opposite, still a few weeks in the future but this time having changed, and improved your eating behaviour (maybe by having listened to your hypnotherapy  ;-)
What made you absolutely decide to make that change?
How did the decision effect you?
What good things happened as a result?
What bad things happened as a result?

So which ‘future you’ do you prefer?  The choice is yours, and entirely yours.  Choose carefully, choose wisely, and most importantly, choose the one you really want.

P.S. and of course, these questions can be used for any challenging situation you’re facing.  Going ‘into the future’ in your head first can help guide your decisions and make tough times easier to respond to.
